Day Camp Policies
To avoid having a session deducted from your package, we ask that you provide us 24 hour notice when your pup won't be able to attend their regularly scheduled session. This allows us to safely staff the sessions and determine availability for other customers.
If you have a membership and do not require a makeup session there is no need to cancel ahead of time. If you have a membership and want to schedule a makeup you must do that at least 24 hours before the session you need to reschedule and that session must be made up within 7 days.
When dropping off your dog for session you can arrive up to 10 minutes early. If you arrive earlier than that we suggest waiting on Saxony Road where there is plenty of room to accommodate non-moving vehicles. This is especially important for morning sessions where we need the street and driveway clear so boarding dogs can check in and our transport vehicles can exit and enter the lot.
Generally when dropping off your dog we will greet you at your car, leash your dog, and walk them to the yard. You are also welcome to park, leash your dog, and walk them to the yard yourself. Please alert staff when you arrive at the yard so they can facilitate your dog's entry into the yard.
Under no circumstances should you place your dog in the yard yourself or enter any areas marked EMPLOYEES ONLY - as this creates a huge safety risk to yourself, the dogs, and staff. If you are running late we can accommodate dogs up to 30 minutes late for sessions, please text us at the number below. We can not have a dog enter the yard after 30 minutes from the start of the session due to safety risks it creates by having a single dog enter into an established session/pack.
We understand emergencies happen, please text us at 760-613-1258 if you are running late and need to make alternative arrangements.
Please do your best to pick up your pup at the end of their session. We need to vacate yards at end of sessions to sanitize structures and water bowls - and when we have pups picked up late it requries potentially crating them and having extra staff to attend to them.We do offer customers a 15 minute grace period on late pick-ups. Pickups later than 30 minutes will incur an additional single session charge. We understand that emergencies happen, if you need to reach us please text us at 760-613-1258 so we can work with you.
If you are running late under no circumstances should you retrieve your dog directly from the yard yourself or enter any areas marked EMPLOYEES ONLY - as this creates a huge safety risk to yourself, the dogs, and staff.
We do our best to monitor local weather and update our website throghout the day for any cancellations due to rain. We generally will keep sessions open for drizzle or light rain. You can find that information here: https://www.woof-academy.com/closure-status - please be sure to refresh your browsers
